Pioneering the Future

For over 100 years, the Yonemori Group has been shaping the industrial landscape of Kyushu, especially Kagoshima. Our legacy is built on the dreams and determination of pioneers who thrived through each era. Their drive, passion, and relentless efforts form the foundation of our success. It’s a story of respect for nature and an unwavering pursuit of excellence, where wisdom and craftsmanship unite.

Today, we’re proud to stand at the forefront of global technology and quality, meeting international standards across all our business operations. But we’re not stopping here — new horizons lie ahead. With more than 100 years of experience as our compass, we are embarking on new challenges to shape the next century and beyond.

Environment and Sustainability

At Yonemori Construction Group, we strive to build in harmony with nature. Since our founding in 1921, we have worked closely with Kagoshima’s mountains, forests, remote islands, and coastlines, creating infrastructure that supports daily life while protecting the environment

We are committed to reducing waste and CO₂ emissions, promoting recycling, and reusing local materials such as biomass ash to foster a circular economy. Beyond construction, we engage in tree-planting, coastal cleanup, and community education programs to preserve regional ecosystems.

Sustainability is more than a goal—it is our responsibility. Through every project, Yonemori Construction Group aims to create lasting value for both people and the planet, ensuring that the foundations we build today will support a greener and more resilient future.

Embracing Diversity, Shaping the Future

At Yonemori Group, we embrace diversity and regard it as a vital source of growth and innovation. Today, about 10% of our 300 employees are international members, and they play an indispensable role in our business operations. This number is expected to continue increasing in the years ahead.

To support the development and success of our international employees, we have been promoting the Yonemori Scholarship Program (YSP) since fiscal year 2001.This program is designed to comprehensively support outstanding graduates from Cambodia’s top universities by providing opportunities to study at the Graduate School of Kagoshima University and to join the Yonemori Group upon completion of their master’s degree. Through both academic and practical training, the program fosters globally minded engineers with strong technical and professional capabilities.

Currently, we plan to welcome two new YSP graduates into our company each year, working together with our global colleagues to shape the next generation of the Yonemori Group.
